Writers' strike starting at exactly 12:01 am on November 5th, fans of late night television may have started to panic. Central issues for the strike involve the writers demand to increase payment from profits on DVD’s and shows that are offered on the internet, cell phones and other devices. This problem has led to the Writers Guilds first strike since 1988.However, the viewing audience wouldn’t actually feel the hit of the strike until sometime early in 2008, when the vault would run dry of pre-strike written episodes.
